The grey house by a lake near to Frankfurt wants to be a very “normal” building taking elements of the rural architecture nearby. It is a wood construction on a stone basement, typical for this region – though as a modern prefabricated massive wood structure. Once enterd you find unexpected views through all the house and its three stories. Frameless windows create a permanent connection to the surrounding nature. The central open space connects the lake view towards north with the southern sunlight.
